Oktoberfest 2006- The Night We Met!

Ethan and I met on October 6, 2006.... Kyle's 30th birthday. Ethan was in Holland to surprise Kyle, a long time friend from grade school, for his birthday. Jody, Kyle's wife, was throwing an Oktoberfest themed party (explains the costumes) that night and we were both invited. Ethan first tried to impress me with a story about how he got hot charcoal stuck to his foot the weekend before... this was while he was attempting to grill the brats for that evening. I say attempting because the flames coming off the grill were taller than he was. We ended up having a good time that night and then going out on the town the next night with Kyle and Jody. When he asked for my number I just gave him a weird look and handed it over thinking he'd never call, and if he did it would amount to much since he lived in Minnesota ... Well, he e-mailed the day after he got home and every day that week.  Then a week later he called, and now two years later he's living in Holland, we own a home, and we're getting married! Good thing I gave him my number!
